2013 Kamiakin Summer Boys Basketball

Please sign all the paperwork even if you may not participate in all of the activities. Please return all the paperwork to Coach Meneely (Room #567) before the first night of summer basketball, Monday, May 27th at 6:30pm (if you are an incoming 9^th grader you can just bring it to the meeting or practice on the first night).

The following is a complete list of the paperwork that must be signed for a player to be cleared for summer basketball.

Note: Physicals are good for two years. You can check with Mrs. Brown at 222-7000 (athletic secretary in the main office of Kamiakin) or if you are an incoming 9^th grader you can check with your son’s school secretary on the expiration date. They must be good thru August of this summer

Note: Partially filled out packets will not be accepted

I understand that not all players will participate in every summer activity but signing all of the paperwork eases the workload of our over worked secretaries at the school. Thanks again and I look forward to seeing you at the Parent/Player Meeting Tuesday, May 14th @ 6:00 pm in the library at KaHS.

Money is due by June 11^th or talk to Coach Meneely. It is not a first come first serve basis. We try to include as many kids as possible but some years we have to limit our numbers.

Clyde scores 13 in all-state game

Kamiakin’s Cooper Clyde scored 13 points for the Class 3A team in the big school all-state basketball game in Tacoma on Saturday, but it wasn’t enough as his team lost 108-107 to Class 4A.

Class 3A led 64-54 at halftime but couldn’t hold on.

Clyde Selected For WIBCA All-State

Kamiakin’s Cooper Clyde and Sunnyside Christian’s Alex Brouwer were selected to play in the 2013 Washington Interscholastic Basketball Coaches Association All-State games.

Clyde will participate in Saturday night’s Class 3A/4A game at Curtis High School in University Place. The teams will tip off at 6 p.m., after the 1B/2B and 1A/2A contests.
